Therefore peresent research was aimed Challenges of advancing sericulture as a sustainable income generating rural activity in Guilan province. The present study was conducted by descriptive-survey method with the help of R-type exploratory factor analysis. The initial list of obstacles was prepared by examining the background of the research and conducting interviews with a group of 30 local elite consisting of experts, sericulture, s farmers of Guilan province. Lack of production facilities, production-conversion barriers, financial-marketing barriers, educational barriers and attitudinal barriers are among the most basic barriers and problems identified in the development of the sericulture. The five factors extracted from exploratory factor analysis explained a total of 62.94% of the variance of the variables. In order to remove the identified barriers, it is recommended to hold higher quality extensional and educational classes, transfer of low-utility banking facilities and support private sector investment to remove the existing barriers.Sericulture is an important tool for home business development and job creation, income generation and empowerment of rural community. Therefore, in this research, the role of background variables and residential unit characteristics on the physical-leisure activity of residents of Javadieh and Khayyam neighborhoods of Sari city have been investigated. Using field questionnaire and descriptive-analytical method, it has been done. The results showed that the level of physical-leisure activity among the residents of Javadieh neighborhood is relatively low and among the inhabitants of Khayyam neighborhood is moderate. There is no significant relationship between age and physical-leisure activity of residents in two neighborhoods, but there is a significant relationship between the cost of household and occupation with the level of physical-leisure activity of residents in the two neighborhoods. In the Javadieh neighborhood, the level of physical-leisure activity is fairly equal between men and women, but in Khayyam neighborhood, women's activity rates are higher than men's. There is no significant relationship between the housing area and the physical-leisure activity of residents in the Javadieh neighborhood, but there is a relatively strong and direct relation between these two variables in Khayyam neighborhood. Comfort and physical and mental well-being are achieved through the access to a proper job and profession. This article tries to analyze the employment situation in rural areas of Iran. Statistical data have been obtained from the Statistics Center of Iran and the Central Bank over the period 1989-2019. In this period, five economic, social and cultural development plans have been implemented and the sixth development plan is underway. During the period under study, the rural population of the country has decreased, but the rural employment rate has been fluctuating and variable. The employment rate in the agricultural sector has remained stable at an average of around 51%, and the sector continues to maintain its dominance in rural employment. In this article, the performance of the economic development and rural employment project is reviewed. I it is shown that during 2017-2020, rural employment creation was limited only to feasibility studies and identification of target villages.Employment is counted as one of the basic components in rural and agricultural development. It is also a way of collecting documentary and library information. Qualitative data were prepared by open questionnaire and through interviews and review of documents and quantitative data used in this study numerically and by weighting Delphi questionnaires. Accordingly, in the first step, the influential indicators and components in this field were collected in different dimensions (economic, socio-cultural, environmental, spatial-physical, physical and historical-ancient). After collecting the data and identifying the initial variables within the Delphi model, 37 questionnaires were distributed exclusively between the executive elites of Gilan province and the academic (statistical population of the research), who had sufficient expertise and experience on tourism issues. According to the results of Mikmak's output, based on the quantitative results of experts, the physical physical condition in Gilan province is somewhat stable in Gilan province, and the current situation in the community-based physical system may not change in the near future.
